Personnel Safety Monitoring
Pain Points: High risks in operation and inspection. Accidents such as falls from height, poisoning in confined spaces, and unmonitored solo operations cannot be detected in time, delaying rescue.
Requirements: Real-time positioning with one-key SOS and fall detection. Real-time vital signs monitoring for personnel working in confined or hazardous areas to prevent accidents and enable rapid rescue.

Operation Process Control
Pain Points: Manual supervision of hazardous areas is prone to fatigue and negligence. Unauthorized entry into hazardous chemical zones/wellheads, overcrowding, and inspection violations cannot be identified and corrected promptly.
Requirements: Zoned and graded area control with real-time accurate personnel identification and counting. Intelligent alerts and interventions for unauthorized entry, overcrowding, and personnel gathering.

Emergency Management
Pain Points: Low-efficiency roll call with time waste, repeated checks, missing personnel, and potential lifeboat overloading. Emergency drills lack evacuation route and time data or simulation, resulting in low evacuation efficiency.
Requirements: Automatic dispatch of evacuation and assembly notices, automatic roll call and personnel counting at safe zones. Improve evacuation efficiency via drill and evacuation path playback, providing data for emergency plan optimization.
Requirement Analysis
♦Difficulty in finding tools:It is time-consuming to find by manpower, laborious in tool handling, inefficient, and high rate of missing inspection by manual invento.
♦Through the positioning function, the real-time position of the tool is acquired, the historical track is queried, and the tool is retrieved at the first time to improve the production efficiency.
♦Difficulty in location management:Manual operation can not eliminate the risk of misuse, and the gun body without electronic fence and other functions can be used in a non-designated station, resulting in wrong parts, wrong sequence and wrong torsion.
♦Through the electronic fence function, the gun body is limited to be activated only at the authorized station to avoid cross-zone misoperation. Electronic fence+process interlock, gun body only active within fence.
♦Difficulty in data analysis:Paper records are difficult to support rapid traceability and in-depth analysis.
♦The location and time stamp are uploaded to the MES in real time through positioning to support full life cycle traceability.


Positioning Solution
By analyzing and comparing existing positioning technologies available on the market, the project plans to adopt a converged positioning system that integrates wired UWB positioning, UWB beacons, and BLE positioning, while supporting extensible Beidou GNSS positioning. This system will meet the diverse positioning and management requirements of complex scenarios such as offshore drilling platforms, as well as extensible ground oil and gas refining and storage yard environments.

Through the comparison of several technical approaches for fall detection, and based on the high-precision personnel positioning management system for offshore oil platforms, this solution adopts a fused monitoring technology of high-precision regional awareness + IMU human posture monitoring, to realize personnel fall detection and vital signs monitoring and management in hazardous offshore operation areas.

1.Open API interfaces enable rapid secondary development in line with actual business scenarios.
2.The positioning engine calculates real‑time terminal positions, pushes data to the business layer via the MQTT 3.protocol, controls business logic based on location information, and provides external APIs.
The backbone transmission network adopts a hybrid wired/wireless transmission mode based on optical fiber and 4G.
4.Position awareness is realized based on UWB + GNSS positioning technology. Meanwhile, a low‑power wireless data transmission network using ZigBee, cameras, and environmental sensors is integrated, together with access control execution devices.
